Update by user May 30, 2018 AAA Travel could be good with the right agent. My agent was awful, but I'm sure some are good at what they do. I like AAA for other services Original review posted by user May 29, 2018 We just got back from a Europe trip. The trip was wonderful, but the AAA travel agent did little-to-nothing to help. From the beginning of planning, it seemed as if we were bothering the agent, Lisa anytime we asked a question or had any sort of concern. She booked an excursion in Munich that started at 8:30 AM, but had us staying the night before in Amsterdam . We pointed out the error, thinking it would be a relativity easy fix for a professional travel agent with over 3 months before the trip and especially because it was her oversite in the first place. I was wrong. She never really fixed it. When we got to Munich, she had us in a hotel 30 minutes from the city-center and booked one less night then planned. We we told we were in the downtown location and had 4 nights, but we were actually booked far at North side location for only 3 nights. Our next lodging booking was in London, so I don't know where she expected us to sleep on that fourth night. We had to pay the higher rate for a last minuted booking for the 4th night. Also, she had my middle name down on all of out travel documents as my first name. I pointed it out to her months in advance and she promised she would fix it. A week before the trip it still wasn't fixed, so I asked about it and she sent me an incredibly passive-aggrisive email. She basically said it didn't matter. (It actually DOSE matter when you're in foreign countries) The trip was amazing, but using AAA Travel almost ruined it. Lisa was lackadaisical, uninspired and often rude.
