I purchased four different gun stocks and have not had any problems. The fit was fine,the purchase were for both the remington and savage rifles. It made these cheap rifle look very expensive. And reduced the recoil.It was an easy process of removing the barrel from the plastic stock and replacing it in the Boyd laminate stock. The rifle seems to produce more accuracy. You would not believe how great the appearance is,the laminate wood gives it a great look. The cost has risen about thirty percent in the last couple of years.The stocks were very reasonable several years ago,but like everything else prices continue to rise.When I started purchasing Boyd they were less than one hundred dollars,now they are about one hundred and fifty,still not a bad deal compared to other companies.
