Goodwrench ripoff

On 07/08/08 I had my Chevy S-10 truck inspected and repaired because of "check engine" amber light on at the dashboard, no other symptoms noticed. Because “nobody knows your GM vehicle better than Goodwrench”, I decided to have my car repaired by Serra Chevrolet Goodwrench, 7850 Highway 64, Bartlett, TN 38133, Ph: 901-382-****. The car was repaired, total invoice being $964.36. However, days later, I’ve got the same "check engine" amber light on at the dashboard. After two days in the shop, the car was released, the gas cap seal has been replaced. Questions: -was it normal to pay so much money just for “Goodwrench specialist training”, because it’s obvious to me that the first repair did not fix the real problem? -I couldn’t use my car for several days now, is this standard downtime for Goodwrench specialists trouble shooting? I consider Goodwrench's approach very unprofessional, I was ripped-off big time. Best Regards, Jay
