Good, but could be better.

Been shopping at my neighborhood Albertsons for as long as they've been there -- going on 30 years, now. The rank and file that work there are good people, friendly, helpful, and many have stuck with Albertsons through thick and thin for decades. The problem is that Albertsons Corporate doesn't seem t have a very good feel for what the neighborhoods its stores are in really want or need. I work second shift, which means that I usually do my shopping late. Back when the store was open 24 hours, I typically came in between 2-3:00 AM to buy my groceries. Well, 24/7 operation was pretty ambitions, and I suppose it couldn't last -- but at least the store was open until 1:00 AM, so I was able to adjust my schedule. Then hours were cut back to 12:00 AM. And recently -- with no prior announcement -- hours were cut back to where they now close at 11:00 AM. To add insult to injury, Safeway used to be open to 1:00 AM, but since the merger with Albertsons they now close at 11:00 PM as well. Where am I suppose to get my groceries? 7/11? Please Albertsons, give your staff a few more hours, and have some consideration for those of us who work -- and shop -- late. There are plenty of us; I was never the only person shopping at 2:00 AM. If you can't have more hours, how about shifting hours? Open at 7:00 AM instead of 6:00 AM, and stay open until Midnight, instead of closing at 11:00 PM. Surely there are some options??
