Gone badly downhill

I don't recall having had a problem with Jessica London in years past, but the last two times I have ordered they have been ridiculous. Right out of the gate, the shipping times are *nonsense* in the current online sales environment. Weeks. It's ridiculous. These are not handmade one-of-a-kind items for which one would expect such a wait. The biggest issue I have is that I had items on backorder that were NOT listed as backordered on the site. I received no notification that they were backordered, and found out when they didn't arrive with the rest of the stuff. I resigned myself to wait a few more weeks for them. Weeks turned into months. I ordered in March. At the end of April, I checked, still backordered with an expected ship date in mid-May. They didn't arrive in May. The first week of June, I checked again. Still on backorder. Today, I checked again, and the order was cancelled, again with no notification to me, on June 6, shortly after I checked and wrote an email asking when I could expect my items. I have not yet received reimbursement for the money I paid for the cancelled items. Customer service is non-responsive. "Technical issues" prevented me from emailing them today. I've had a chat open for 15 minutes this evening waiting for the "next available operator." I don't know what's going on at Jessica London but this will be the last order they ever get from me.
