I am set up with automatic withdrawals for my auto policy. I made a manual payment online on the 31st for the full amount due. Erie then drafted another payment for the same amount, the following day, which in turn decreased the amount of money in my account. Budgeting exactly what I had spent with what bills had already paid I was missing $166. Therefore as the pending charges went through my account the bank paid and I was charged $35 per pending transaction that was processed in my account, with another 6 still pending. For every payment that drafts from my account my bank will be charging me $35. $36x8 pending payments=$280. I explained as an insurance agent myself, how my company handles things of this nature and received the response, with respect we are not *insert name of company *. They refuse to refund any fees charged to me from my bank which wouldnt have been there in the first place had they not taken payment from my account that was paid prior to the draft date
