Please please I hope you can help me with my problem First I want to thank GHD for this type of styler...I'm using this styler now for many years and will never look back. However, I bought a purple styler on the 21st of December 2012 for my daughter so when she came to visit the 26th of December 2012 it didn’t even came on and had scratches on it...I contact the supplier (Consultant for GHD – or middle person for this consultant) and she told me that it got scratched when GHD did the packaging and they don’t take responsibility for that….and I have to wait for a minimum of 2 weeks so that they can send it to Cape Town to be tested...my argument was that this is a brand new one and didn’t even worked when we tried to put it on…after numerous disagreements she exchanged it after a few days...my daughter used the new one that night and she said again that this styler doesn’t work right….(just some more information…we have natural curly hair…so the only styler for us is a GHD)…so I contacted the consultant again...her reply was that there is no guarantee on the styler...I told her that I rather want my money back and will go to the people I always use…..her reply was again that there is not a money back policy…she is currently testing it now for a week in her hair salon and claim that it works a 100%...my problem is that it will work a 100% on straight hair…but on our hair type it doesn’t (with my GHD her hair is straight within 45min…with her cheap straighner it takes her an hour and a half…with this straighner it takes her 3 hours…and then still looks frizzy)...she told me I must sell this reject styler myself if I want my money back…..and her reply on the money back was...(where the hell must I ### this money out now)..currently she is also 'trying' to sell the faulty second hand styler...and I must just wait patiently until whenever she can get a buyer…and like I said…if I can’t wait…I must sell it myself…how can consultants of GHD expect the public to sell this faulty styler to someone else PLEASE HELP ME TO EXCHANGE OR GET MY MONEY BACK…I will gladly go to the suppliers I always use…they just didn’t have in stock…and I was in a rush to get one for my daughter for Christmas…and now I have endless problems… This is really unacceptable and I will never ever go to any other straighner again…but someone must protect the public from Consultants for GHD of this…they give GHD very bad publicity….and I am at the point to go to an attorney and the newspapers…because I’m almost sure that I am not the only customer with this problem…I will not contact her again…I think the best way is to go public with this…but would rather wait until Monday to see if someone at GHD can maybe help me with this problem…I will so much appreciate it. The person I bought the styler from is Desire [protected] ) and she doesn’t want to give me the person’s name or telephone number where I had to pick up the straighner because she didn’t have a vehicle to go and pick it up. I only have an address. 121 Zea Ave Arconpark Vereeniging Gauteng…apparently she is the direct consultant….but are never home….and I can’t get a cell number to contact her myself. GHD must really try to cut out the one-man suppliers and rather use Clicks or Verimark or Game…so that the public can immediately return / exchange the stylers Regards
