Generator shuts down when running do to low oil pressure code

My new generator has to cycle twice to start in warm weather which seems to be an issue when it gets cold. When the generator runs it shuts down do to low oil pressure code 1300. The unit has been looked at 3 times by local Generac Tech to no avail. I would like a new unit as I have no faith in current unit. User's recommendation: Do not buy.
