Hardees - Incompetent General Manager Oroville Location. April 2019. I am a shift leader at the Carl's Jr. in Oroville. I work the 5 to 11 shift. I've been a proud employee of this establishment for over a year now. Due to my managerial experience and my expertise in the food and business industry I am able to work all positions within this restaurant whenever needed. That being said, too many times when myself and my fellow employees have come in on our shift we end up having to do a lot of the work of the previous shift that the general manager, who was on duty at the time these employees were working, did not see fit that the work was completed. He is negligent in ordering the proper amount of food for any given day, we are constantly running out of buns, and or hamburgers, fish, etc. When certain equipment needs to be fixed and has to be told several times by employees and/or customers. For example, when the air conditioning needed to be fixed. In California, or any business where the climate is hot, the air conditioning must be working effectively for the health and proper work and dining environment for the employees and the customers. In terms of scheduling his employees, he has no clue. We are constantly short handed and we end up staying late to catch up from the day at hand and/ or the previous shifts work. He also has no people skills whatsoever and has been known to be rude to employees as well as customers. Please address this issue with this general manager. I know that this is not the standard of workmanship that Carl's Jr. aspires for in any of it's employees or its establishments.
