For Gander RV of Anniston. Submitted credit app online. Was called by Carly on 2/27 (Sat) to ask me to come in. I live 2 hrs away--said I needed more information about financing before traveling. Carly said she could not run credit until 3/1 (Mon) because banks weren't open until then, and the BANKS REQUIRED a down payment ($4500) before running the credit. Said she had spoken to her Business Manager to confirm. I/Carly set appointment for 1pm on 2/28 (Sun), but I couldn't keep appointment and told Gander sales agent same at 1050am on 2/28 (Sun). I did not schedule another appointment. I did not travel to Gander. I did not provide any down payment. Turns out Gander ran our credit on 2/27 (Sat; per Experian and same day Carly spoke to me). Gander RV rep in Anniston misrepresented financing facts. User's recommendation: Don't use Gander RV in Anniston.
