Furniture To Go in Tampa and Coaster Furniture do not honor warranties

I bought a COASTER futon frame from Furniture to Go (aka The Bedroom Show) in September of 2007. I liked the way the futon looked. It was in a catalog and I couldn't see the actual furniture but I was told upon purchase that it would be under warranty through the store for year and thereafter through the manufacturer. Nine months later it collapsed. I was told to take a picture and email it to them. I did. After getting the runaround for a month, I was told they wouldn't cover it because of where the break was in the futon frame. They said it was due to "excessive force". I am not overweight. 99.9% of the time I am the only one on the futon. So why exactly did it break? Did a hurricane somehow enter my apartment and cause this "excessive force" to the futon which would cause it to break? Was it some kind of entity? BECAUSE IT WASN'T ME! I explained this to them incessantly and it was like talking to a tape recorder programmed to say the same thing: excessive force, won't cover, excessive force, won't cover... The store blames Coaster and Coaster blames the store. I was told, however, by the store that they would cover my warranty for a year and thereafter it would be covered through Coaster. It is THEIR responsibility to cover it, not mine. And Coaster should enforce this since it's their product. So we have two companies pointing the finger at each other meanwhile I'm sleeping on the floor because I went to the wrong store to purchase my futon frame. This is just a cheap ploy used by Furniture to Go (also known as The Bedroom Show) to get out of covering their merchandise. This futon frame was either defective or just plain cheap! I have had futons most of my adult life and I have never seen such garbage! I want the futon replace at no cost. I also payed THEIR delivery guys $55 (plus tip) to assemble it. It took them over an hour and the first time a piece was actually put on backwards and they had to disassemble and reassemble it! When I bought a futon in Los Angeles, it took them ten minutes to assemble it and it lasted for ten years!
