Frustrated and still without electricity

my wife mistakenly paid the wrong bill that I told her to pay. and needless to say I won't have to pay my oil bill for a long time but my electricity was shut off. I called and was on hold for 36 minutes. I called right after the guy was leaving my house. I paid the bill out right she told me I was in a 24-hour window. this was at about 10:30 a.m.. I called the next day because my electricity was still off around 11:30 a.m. when I spoke to a new lady she told me though there was some kind of mistake and they didn't have anyone sent out to your home so now you're in another 24-hour window. and now it's 12:30 and still waiting.
