“free sample” is bogus

1

Same as everyone else here. I ordered the "free sample" through Facebook, and then quickly did a check and discovered it's a scam. I called and canceled, thinking that was the end of it. Then I got a shipment in the mail and a big fat $109 charge on my credit card. Their customer service guy said I only canceled ONE of the products, which is utter ####, I said Cancel EVERYTHING. And they didn't. Today, I repeated that I wanted cancelation (replete with expletives) and got the 50% restocking fee down to a 70% credit and not having to return. But then I called my credit card company, CHASE, and they removed not only the $109, but a new charge of $115! And they blocked the company from ever charging me again. Chase ROCKS. Not normally a fan of big banks, but this is the second time in a matter of months that Chase has saved my bacon from fraudsters (the other was a series of bogus charges through PayPal that Chase recognized as suspicious.)
