I received a call from someone claiming to be a pretrial and mediation attorney representing Cash Central regarding a cash advance loan I defaulted on. He had an old bank account number, but when I told him I had never received any calls from Cash Central regarding a default loan/payment he claimed they did, when I do not know!! He told me if I did not pay by 4pm same day he would file a criminal complaint for fraud, I asked for his firm name and his license number and after many calls the state bar in his state nor the American bar association had any listing for the license number he game me, which by surprise, was the same as his telephone number minus the prefex and a 1 added to the end, this may be a scam, but I can tell you the person who called me is not a legit attorney nor is the firm name found anywhere. Beware.
