Emory Ortho Clinic: Emory billed incorrectly (wrong address). When I saw this on my EOB I contacted them and asked them to contact my Insurance company as I didn't have the correct address either. They continued to bill me the full amount (around $1400) like 4 times. THEN I contacted my insurance co to get correct instructions. THEN called Emory business office (BO) DO AGAIN to give them instructions. Almost 1 year later I see that my Insurance paid the claim. Checked the portal. No bill available. Called BO AGAIN to get invoice. Left message. No return call. THEN I get a call from collections agency :( I hung up and called Emory to obtain invoice. They refused to provide invoice with no way to see itemized billing codes, etc. I was FORCED to pay the amount they said was due without EVER seeing an invoice. The hours / days I spent trying to resolve their inefficiencies I will NEVER get back. I posted a comment on their FB page, just got a call from Customer Service. Guess what? This is NOT her department so she will have someone else call me back. INCREDIBLE LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY User's recommendation: Do not use if you have a choice.
