Fraud and negligence

1

I had a check stolen out of my mailbox and a customer of Sun trust forged my name and signed the check over to himself and then did a mobile deposit. Even though depositing a third party check as a mobile deposit should not be legal, I cannot change the law, but I can take action when total negligence was involved. This deposit should have never been allowed as my "so called" signature that he signed, along with his own name and pay to the order of were ALL in the same handwriting. Stevie Wonder could have even seen that. SunTrust employees allowed this check to go through and allowed this man to steal my money when this could have been prevented. The handwriting of the party signing over the check should never be the same writing and this was total negligence on the behalf of Sun Trust, so much so that I am considering taking legal action. User's recommendation: Bank somewhere else.
