Flight cancelation email

I wanted to cancel a flight due to Provincial-led COVID restrictions that affects me arriving at the intended destination. Unfortunately I haven't been able to successfully reach them as the phone numbers within Canada I found in their website isn't going through and I haven't even gotten a response to the cancellation email I submitted couple of days ago....Why is it so challenging to get a little issue resolved?
