I purchased one of the flea and tick collars and it burnt my cat and now she constantly digs the sores/scabs (even though i removed it IMMEDIATELY upon seeing what what happening) and all they have to say is "give her a bath in degreaser soap such as dawn or Palmolive dish soap and if she needs to be taken to the vet we may or may not do in medical reimbursement to you." User's recommendation: DO NOT USE.
