First Alert Model No. P1210

1

We purchased the First Alert Model No. P1210 smoke detectors back in 2015 thinking we would not have to replace batteries every year anymore. We vacuum and dust them each month as suggested by the directions, and we have not had any issues with smoke, or steam from our bathrooms, etc., as they are in bedrooms and the room leading to the our three bedrooms. Recently, two of the smoke detectors started going off for no reason, usually in the middle of the night. Our dogs are bothered more by annoying beeps then we are, much to our mutual dismay. I would love to return them for a refund, though I bet the warranty has run out! Sadly, I have already purchased replacements hoping the problem was with the batch since I could not find the older style units which only beeped when the batteries were running low!
