Update by user Dec 19, 2019 I have never heard back from Party City, except their origina email that they would ave a district manager contact me. That never happened. They probably figured no big deal as the purchase was only for $1.00 or $2.00, but it is the point of customer service, and updating their inventory online. They did nothing about the complaint, nada. I won't be using them again for my craft or party needs. Plus the store was a complete mess and employees lacked motivation and this was well before the holiday season started. Original review posted by user Nov 19, 2019 I do crafts at Xmas time. I had looked on their website for stickers. The store closest to me were out of tock, but another store a bit further away had 6 in stock. SO I drove over to that one in a rainstorm. Got there and had to find a clerk to help me. The store was very messy. The clerk checked and said he had no order from me online. Called the Mgr up to help. She had nothing either and they had no stickers. I asked why then was it online that they had 6? She said online might not have been updated? Well who is responsible for that? She called other store even though I stated they did not have any. They did not. They offered no help, but Oh well, we don't have it. There was another customer in there, that was asking for ballons etc, and they were all out?? This did not follow a huge holiday or any big celebration in our area. The store was a mess, empty areas on floor, and the employees were slow as molasses. I wrote to their headquarters and asked if they could find the stickers and perhaps for the trouble, they could ship to me, it would not cost that much. They replied they could ship nothing for free and that they would turn my complaint over to the district mgr, and maybe she could offer me something. I gave my ok to do that. They said I would be contacted in 72 hrs from them. I did not hear back from them and sent another message and said I had heard nothing. It has been about 3 wekes or more, and still have not heard back from anyone and nothing was offered for the problem. Their customer service has a lot to be desired. People don't respond to complaints, stores were messy, and employees lacked motivation. I would not shop there again for anything. The other lady customer, walked out of there disgruntled as well. I've never had a problem wth a company not responding to a complaint, except for my prior Clover Valley complaint, that was trated the same way. Never got anything from them, and a person was sick from their eggs. Companies really need to be aware of the old saying " The customer is always right".
