We have used Sage accounts 50 for years, without requiring support. They charged us for support on more than 1 occasion by increasing the direct debit without our consent. Now I find they are charging us nearly £1000 a year because HMRC insist on online submission, initially around £300. When told we do not want this I now find our software will not work. So now holding people to ransom,curtesy of HMRC. Clearly not interested in helping small companies.
