Nov. 16, 2019: My wife Faye was transported to and from Emergency at Peace Health, Longview, WA, She was unable to walk or stand due to Parkinson's Disease. She needed an Ambulance due to her tendency to pass out. Not notifying me of a possible transporting charge, the ER Doctor checked the "Nothing Wrong With Her" box causing a $2,000 invoice from AMR. Her condition plus being over weight caused the transporting requirement. No where could I find anyone to discuss the situation which also included her passing out unexpectedly. Be careful when the ER doctor wants to know what kind of transportation is needed. IT may cost you $2,000. User's recommendation: Know your transporting options.
