Finance charge cost me $7.21… But it cost them TWO patients
My wife and I finally had dental insurance for the first time in our lives. We found Dorothy Lane Dental by just passing by their front door. We scheduled cleaning appointments for us both. Several issues were found with out teeth and additional appointments were needed. The ladies in the back were wonderful. The dentist was polite. I received a bill showing my insurance benefit was maxed out and I owed $82.45, with $7.21 being a finance charge. It seemed the amount of time between invoicing and payment from my insurance company went passed their 30 days of patience. I questioned the office manager about the fee, but she refused to remove it. I paid my bill in full and canceled both my wife's and mine next scheduled cleaning. (I just drove by the location and they are no longer in this building 05/09/2018)
