Feel shafted

Update by user Nov 06, 2019 no Original review posted by user Nov 05, 2019 I recently, on a Tuesday, I took my vehicle to the dealer because of several dash lights staying on. One being the abs light, and for noise in the front end of my car. Once the dealer rep told me what needed to be done, I was told an inspector needed to come see the car in order for approval to be made. Unfortunately, the dealer did not have any loaner cars, so I contacted Easy Care to see if my contract covered rentals. I spoke with Jennifer & was told, "no worries, yes it does." I asked a few more questions, one being how long it would take the inspector to get there, than ended the call. Since I had no option, I rented a car at the near by Enterprise....The inspector came on Wednesday, however, it took 3 days for the dealer to recieve approval for the work needed. (of course, when I called Easy Care to find out why it was taking so long, a gentleman by the name of Jorge, I was told they had "Left a message" as the dealer, giving approval) However, the dealer stated NO MESSAGE was recieved. During this call, I was "reminded" that Easy Care only paid $30.0 per day for a rental, up to SIX days. When Jorge said that, I was shocked & told him, "hold on! when I spoke with Jennifer, she DID NOT tell me about the $30.00 and definetly NOT about the six day limit!!!! He told me the phone conversation could be reviewed & work from there. By this time, it was Friday evening & no parts could be ordered for my car until Monday. When Monday came, I called to find out about the phone conversation with Jennifer being reviewed. This time I spoke with Megan. She advised it had not been done & would contact her supervisor to have it done & that someone would contact me about it. When Megan called me back, I was told the decision stands, that Easy Care would only pay $30.00 per day for six days. I would have liked to have heard that recording of my conversation with Jennifer as proof!! So my car rental that ended up being about $396.00, (daily rental was $40.00), I was reimbursed $180.00 *** Now on to the repairs. The mechanic stated I needed TWO rear wheel sensors and front struts, bearing & insulators. So, when the inspector comes, he only approve ONE strut assembly and one wheel sensor! I contacted several mechanics in my area and all of them told me you always replace both. That it is like only buying one new shoe at a time. Needless to say, I paid for the other one, out of my pocket and do not feel this is fair in any way at all!! The entire dealer bill was $962.50. After my deductable of $250.00 (of which I found out was way overpriced) and my out of pocket, Easy Care paid a whooping $124.02 Than as more insult, the rental car cost of $396.00, ended up costing me $216.00. My total out of pocket is $804.48. I think Easy Care shafted me ever which way. I am not happy with your company! Will never purchase another policy from your company again! Will let everyone I know, to NEVER do business with you. I paid a couple thousand dollars for this policy, to save myself about $300.00!!! It would have been cheaper for me to have not used this policy and taken my car to a none dealer mechanic.
