I went to Saar's today a because they had a special on their leanest ground beef. $2.99 per pound tor 97% lean ground beef sounded like a good deal. When I got home I found that they had taken old dark brown ground beef and wrapped a thin layer of fresh around it to make it look fresh. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of a store doing. I am not sure that it is legal. I will look to see if there is a way I can report this to some government agency.
