Failure of 3 P1210 smoke detectors

P1210 smoke detectors with dates 04-10-2018, 01-22-18 and 01-22-2018 all failed within a period of 2 months (06-2018 and 07-2018) always during the night. Worse part was the trauma it caused our dog not to mention my wife and I. Can't believe there was no recall or even a statement from the company.
