Failed parts

In my new C8 convertible the valve spring cracked and fell into the cylinder and the engine had to be dropped after 92 miles. When I couldnt get in touch with anyone at GM I emailed The CEO Mary Barra and had a response with 1 hour from the executive resolution team. I am in the process of working things out with them User's recommendation: Go to the chief.
