Extremely unhelpful and unprofessional customer service
I have utilized the services of Sears Optical stores, in Medina and also Strongsville. Yesterday I stopped at the Medina location to see what could be done for a lens (1) which was cracked. The first greeting I had was "Are they under warranty?" They were not, at which point she told me there was nothing they could do. I then asked if they didn't have a lab where they could be sent, her answer was they could make a new pair. I asked if they couldn't just repair or replace one lens, and was told no. I find this hard to believe, couldn't believe this would be true. This episode occurred at about 2:30 yesterday afternoon, and I am extremely disappointed about the entire incident. As a consequence, I will probably never return, and hope that someone could provide the receptionist with better training. I will be very interested to hear a response to this.
