CLV group bought out the building I live in Montreal this summer. Since then I have only witnessed incredible incompetence and unprofessionalism on their behalf. It came as little of a surprise when part of the laundry room roof crumpled as I was doing my laundry. They have little care for the wellbeing of the current tenants - permanent construction noise including on Saturdays. Exhorbitant rent increases for little increased value. Moreover, a stubborn inflexibilty to have any tenant centred approach. They persistently refused to renegotiate their unreasonable rent increases and it took a very detailled letter on our behalf outlining all the failures of their management to convince them their rent increase was unreasonable. Their failures include - cockroach infestation of 2121 Rue saint mathieu apartment, garage door closing on car and causing $800 of damages, ceaseless construction noises. I will most certainly never be living in another CLV building ever again.
