I am sad to see all of the negativity, and it sucks that people are more likely to post reviews only if they had a bad experience, but about the positive. I want to explain my continual and complete satisfaction with the training experiences and continual support with both the Colorado CPR Association, but more specifically with the Center Training Coordinator Tracy Ricke! I have been affiliated with the center for approximately 14 years, and with Tracy for approximately 8 years (possibly more). The last 8 years have been so much more pleasant and comforting, and it is mainly due to the obvious passion for saving lives, that Tracy displays every single day of her life! I have never felt more comfortable with my abilities as a well educated and well supported instructor, in which I attribute mostly to Tracy Ricke! In fact, I have been exposed to two other local training centers which whom I would not feel as comfortable, because I know how thorough Tracy is with ensuring we, as instructors, and any students in our courses, do not take any shortcuts, and completely follow the AHA recommendations and requirements, and unfortunately I cannot say that I have the same confidence in the other two training centers. In my opinion, taking shortcuts and being lenient is not acceptable, when ensuring the people we are teaching and mentoring will eventually be certified to save my family's life. Tracy's continued support, fair teaching methods, positive attitude, and the shared passion her and I both have for this topic are the reasons I will never feel comfortable with any other person as my Training Coordinator, or Training Center.
