Excellent quality, but poor choice for older customers
Dear Mr Wheeler, I have been a customer for some time, and have to say that the older customer is being ignored by your excellent firm. The current fashion trends, particularly the skinny "drain pipe" trouser revival is fine for younger slimmer men, but look absolutely ridiculous on many older men, some of whom are naturally not so skinny. Please re-introduce the wider trouser leg in pants and suits, with the deeper groin (belt to crutch) and pleats as a choice. In addition, the so called classic collars in shirts are only just OK. The splayed collars expose the tie material either side of the knot and look awful. I don't know what the statistics say, but I would hazard a guess that the older (often retired and perhaps portly) man represents a good source of potential income for the company if the more conservative styles were offered as an option. I don't want to look elsewhere, but am coming to the conclusion that I will soon have to do so for the above mentioned reasons. I have browsed some American sites that seem to offer more conservative styles. Yours sincerely Michael Beasley (Australian customer No 1249****
