Every thing about the surgery

3

I had surgery at the Galleria office and was told I could be back at my over seas job within the 16 days I was taking. What a whopper! They made the surgery sound like there was nothing to it and while I did some research, I obviously did not do enough. They give you a drug cocktail, their words, but all it did was make me paralyzed, but I felt everything. It was the most excruating pain I've ever felt. I had both my neck and my eyes done. I could hear the doctor saying why in the hell is she bleeding so much? But that didn't stop him from continuing with the surgery. I had so many problems from the surgery and could not get them to see me most of the time - their actual words were that I was fine and to get over it. It makes me cry when I think of the way they treated me. The truth was I had an eye infection (left eye where surgery site was) and he had to put me on antibiotics. I had 11 hours of labor with nothing and that was nothing compared to this. I changed doctors and of course I had to pay again out of my own pocket. I actually saw two different plastic surgeons 1) for my eyes 2)the second one for all the knots and scarring I had around the front and back of my ears. The eye surgeon has injected steroids into the scars around my eyes but I still have knots at each corner and they will have to be redone. The scarring around the front of my ears is much better, but still horrible behind my ears. The second doctor worked for Lifestyle for a time when he was still doing his residency - he called the the McDonalds of plastic surgery; I said not even the Burger King where you can have it your way. The sad thing also is it hasn't been quite two years and my neck is already falling! I was not released to go back to work until the middle of December. What is really sad to me is the way they treated me. Right up tll the time I had my surgery, they treated me wonderfully, even gave me a discount for travel and another small one because an electric storm came through and power was lost to the building. After that the doctor would not even come to the phone, only the receptionist or the physician assistants. When I came in for a follow up appointment, I looked so bad, they asked me to sit in a back office! I told them oh hell no, I wanted these people to see what they could look like if they had surgery there. I am redheaded, fair skinned, so I know I don't do as well as a lot of people do regarding surgery. My complaint is not that at all, it was taking my money, then acting like I was just a bother to them. It is the very worst I have ever been treated by a company that took so much of my money. Would I do it again - yes! At Lifestyle Lifts a very firm NOOOOOOO! I wish I could show you pictures because I looked so bad. I'm not sure that would be fair though when my real complaint is the bad treatment and to look like I already need another neck lift!
