In my dealing with the English Inn, I was extremely disappointed with their methods of doing business. In the past, I've spent tens of thousands of dollars there. Now this has become a restaurant and banquest facility that I will never return to and never recommend. Their prior manager / owner apparently decided to let his son become the "managing partner." HUGE mistake in my opinion. I found them to be unaccomodating and I would not trust them again. I believe there are FAR better choices available in the Lansing, Michigan region for booking parties, weddings, events, etc. Many of those choices are less expensive and more convenient to access. It's sad to see what happens to some venues when new management comes in.
