ENGINE WENT DRY, LESS THAN 200 MLES since VIOC. OIL FILTER NOT ON ENGINE

1

4/21/2020 OIL CHANGE. 5/13/2020 car breaks down. AAA loads it on ramp, OIL FILTER ROLLS OUT OF CAR AND ON THE BERM OF 16E in Newark, Ohio. Car towed to Stradley's Garage. Mechanic who has serviced my car for ten plus years, said the whole underside was covered with oil. I asked why my brakes would not stop the car while I was trying to stop for the Newark Police Officer who was trying to get me off berm. He said it the WHOLE UNDERSIDE WAS COVERED WITH OIL. I COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT! MY ENGINE IS DEAD!! I DON'T HAVE A CAR!!!! KELLY BLUE BOOK APPRAISES MY CAR'S VALUE AT $1000-$2000. User's recommendation: oil filter are not tightened--filter falls out--no oil in engine--car is dead.
