Engine Light Appeared Within 1 block of dealership
This company is the biggest piece of @*#$ company I have ever been screwed over by...so... I bought a 1995 Toyota Avalon XLS for more than I wanted to pay (naturally, they claimed that they were losing money) and I thought it was all good. However, the check engine light and ABS light went on WITHIN ONE BLOCK OF LEAVING THE LOT!!! I took it back the next day and they told me that it was a simple fix—nope, a new belt and fuel injection system was required. My car wreaks like gas, I FOUND A DIRTY SOCK WITH VICODIN INSIDE OF IT IN THE GLOVE BOX. I took it back and asked them about the drugs and told them that I could have gotten a felony because of them, and all they said was, "oh wow, really?" 6 months later and the car is in such bad shape that I'm just going to have to get another one. I wouldn't even let these guys kiss my *** they're *** and they target the young and naive, the poor, and minorities who are inexperienced in buying used vehicles. I work in the non-profit sector and now I can look forward to eating Ramen for 6 months so I can buy another car. Meanwhile, I'm totally screwed because the car would cost over 50% of its' value to fix. @#$@ you Daystarr!!!!! Oh, btw, they constantly change their name, so just know that it is at 11351 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55343. Also, they have 2 different websites for the same company...daystarrmotors.com and daystarrcars.com, which is just weird.
