Employee got into a fist fight with a customer

There was a fight that broke out because the employee thought he heard the customer mumble something under their breath the employee got in the customers face in his space the customer felt threatened and told the employee to get out of his face and bam the employee started to take his work stuff off and proceeded towards the customer to engage in a fight slams the customer to the ground at this point they were outside User's recommendation: I think the employee should be fired what is he showing the other employees that its ok to argue and fight with a customer no that is not professional at all no respect at all then when we speak to the store manager's about it its like they dont care.
