I went to the Knoxville TN Kingston Pike stor to purchase a impact wrench which was not on the shelf. I requested an employee which retrieved one from the store room. When he returned he stated he would have to leave it with the cashier. Not a problem but he went on to state we are close to the door and I dont want t you to take off with it. I have been a long time customer and a retired police officer with 43 years service. I dont appreicate being accused of being a thief. Store policy is fine but dont go further to insult customers and accuse them of being a thief. The manager even went so far as to say all customers are thieves is why she told her employees to leave tools at register. If everyone is a thief I will no longer shop at Harbor Freight. Bernie R.
