Electrolux not honouring Oven warranty
I have an extended warranty with Electrolux for a range oven. The base and the legs of the oven are warped and damaged which has been confirmed by their engineer who has attended to address several issues. The oven can't be levelled and has been made worse by being removed by an engineer who pulled the oven out to fix an Electrolux fault which rendered the oven unusable on Christmas Day with a houseful For three months the company have given conflicting messages about the availability of parts identified as been required by their engineer. Obsolete on one call, available the next. I have lost count of the amount of calls initiated to try to resolve the situation. Today 7/3, I was told an engineer would arrive with the legs and base. The engineer had the legs but not the base- he said it was obsolete! I have phoned service who said they have not been instructed by services to issue a replacement. The engineer has advised my wife he could prop it up with some wood!!!! Furthermore, the engineer said customer care would not replace the oven. An oven under warranty, and one with a fault exacerbated by their own engineers as a two man job was attended by one man who had to drag the oven to fix it. To add insult to injury I have emailed the CEO of Electrolux Mr Jonas Samuelson and had nothing back whatsoever. Customer Services have been diabolical. Rude staff who talk over you, no way of escalating to resolve issues, managers who don't call back, customer service number which states they are *** at 3.00pm on a Thursday afternoon... Horrific.
