Elders Beware in Colorado Springs, CO
1
My elder mother and step-father, 70 and 78 respectively, contacted Handyman Connection to have a new safety railing installed at their back door to allow them to safely access their backyard. The job was discussed, a timeline was agreed upon, a contract was drawn and, monies exchanged hands. The job was to include ALL PARTS and labor. Only after calling the company multiple times and threatening a Better Business Complaint did the craftsman arrive on a Saturday. The work was not completed to my step-fathers satisfaction, parts were missing, specifically caps for the railing. When he reached out to Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs, he was met with "what do you expect us to do about missing parts?" The contract was for all PARTS and LABOR, he expected the job to be completed in its entirety. It should not be up to the customer to track down missing parts for an order placed by the contractor. Thus far, Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs has failed to complete the job. Communication with Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs and Handyman Connection Corporate has not yielded satisfaction. Please beware when contracting with Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs.
