Du-All Contractor Rip off, Michigan

This contractor did the worst reconstruction job that you can imagine. They were paid very well to do this job After I had flood damage to my home caused by a broken plumbing line. I took a settlement arranged by the insurance Company investigator who came out to see this job when I made a complaint. The Du-All Rep that contracted this job lied to the Insurance Co. Inspector right in front of me, saying that they had refinished wood doors that had not been done since the original finish some more than 35 years before. they didn't even clean them off. It cost me $500. More to have this job redone than I received, plus my family and have done re mudding, re priming, repainting and re cleaning that this company's incompetent work required redoing. Some things did not show up well on the photo's wood floors that do not match. I showed the company Rep the can with the original satin finish & the used a different product with a glossey finish. the 2 bedrooms off of this wood floor will sill have to be refinished now, Its not been done yet. They also lost a part of a bathroom towel bar that can not be matched. Now I have to replace a complete set because of the missing piece. ( 2 Towel bars, toilet paper holder and matching ornamental clothing Hook). The lead employee spent as much time outside making personal cell phone calls & smoking as he did working. They also forgot the key to my house one day & broke in through a kitchen window. A neighbor witnessed this & told me. She didn't think to call the police. I discovered that they did not get a permit to do this job,so I called the city inspector to come out. He said that it did not pass inspection. but he could only make them redo any water damage not fixed even if I had already taken a pay out & we did find damage not fixed. but he could not do anything about the poor workmanship. Du-All than went paid the License permit & sent a lawyer. All of a sudden the job passed inspection! (Something definitely wrong here.) Please see my pictures on flickr.com Under __ Du-All Disaster__ and pass this along to everyone you know in Oakland & Macomb county Michigan. The total payment for this job with dry out, clean up and reconstruction was $31,461.60
