To start off the crossbow didn't even come with the stringe silencers shown in the description. So I was letting my daughter shoot it and of course I was out there with her but we've shot it multiple times and I was comfortable that she knew what she was doing. Well we got to laughing and joking around and she forgot to put a bolt in there. Well she dry fires it. THANK GOD NOTHING BAD HAPPENED!!! I bought this crossbow because it was a great deal and I felt comfortable about letting my kids shoot it because the dry fire technology. Well I guess I was wrong.
