Doors buckling on 2017 Dodge Charger VIN 2C3CDXCT9HH524825
I am writing because I mailed a letter and sent pictures in July 2020 of the two front doors on my Dodge charge buckling the top near the windows and asked that it be rectified due to a manufacturing defect. I did not receive any correspondence in response to this, my husband followed up with a phone call a month later and was told to take it to a dealer. We did in fact take it to a dealer (Kernersville Jeep Chrysler In Kernersville, NC) and the service department cannot confirm or deny that it is a manufacturer defect. They stated the panels need to be replaced. I have read many, many, complaints online about this same issue. This is a defect that I believe Chrysler in good faith should repair. These doors should NOT be coming apart, especially at 3 years of age. We were considering buying another Chrysler product but now we are rethinking our future purchase given the circumstances. I am asking that this be considered for repair. User's recommendation: Buy their warranty if you buy this car.
