Where do I start with this company (Southeast shipping,Dubai) ? Their approach to business cannot even be described as unprofessional...it is many stages beyond that. At first everything went well: a prompt response to my query and a reasonable quote;A pick up of my goods promptly and professionally packed. Even by the end of this sorry episode my goods were (finally)delivered in great condition and with no extra charge except for border charges which I already know about. It's what happened between those two events that have left me angry,desperate and at times feeling very very helpless. From the moment my things were taken away all communication appeared to cease. As the 3/4 days quoted came and went my emails inquiring what was going on were mainly ignored. I was told outright lies about the delivery date. The worst was complete lack of communication..absolutely no replies to emails...refusing to pick up the phone once my number was known to them.In the end I filed a complaint with Dubai consumer rights and got my delivery within 24 hours after the complaint was made. I am really at a loss to understand the business sense of this company.Do they really enjoy coming into work each day to a barrage of angry emails and phone calls? At least communicate with your clients. If I had been told at the start that my delivery would take 5 weeks I would have been OK with that and made sure that I packed stuff I needed immediately in my plane luggage. I f they had offered me a higher price for a more speedy delivery I would have gladly paid it but at no time was there any indication that the delivery would take more than 3/4 days. My patience has been tested to the extreme over the last few weeks and I began to wonder whether I would ever see my stuff again. If you are reading this because you are looking for a moving company then please do not use Southeast shipping. If you are looking at this because you have already engaged with them then I suggest you get onto Dubai consumer rights straight away and get a solution. If you have already sent your stuff with Southeast then good luck.You have my deepest sympathy.
