DON’T PURCHASE YOUR NEXT VEHICLE FROM HOLT FIAT OF HURST!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO SUCH SLIMY BUSINESS PRACTICES AND UNPROFESSIONALISM!!!!!! I was contacted by this dealership with the proposed high likelihood of getting into a vehicle after submitting my application through a third-party financing network. Initially, the process was courteous and proficient. Because I am in no desperate need of a vehicle at this time, I made it very clear what I wanted, what I was willing to pay, and all other contractual regards applicable when I am "looking" to purchase an automobile. The salesperson that initially contacted me was named Jennifer. We went through several hours of back and forth phone conversations and eventually text messages in which I was adamant in my disclosure of not being hard-pressed for a deal that was outside of my desired stipulations. I informed her that I was unwilling to have any hard inquiries made on my credit at this time and to not use any acquired information if she was unable to specify likelihood of financing without the information I'd already provided. She ASSURED me if any inquiry took place it would only be a "soft-pull/peephole" look into my credit worthiness. Because this is not my first rodeo, that should have been an initial red flag, however, I took her word and we proceeded. Several conversations later, desperation on the dealership's behalf became more apparent and that should have been my second reason to walk away. A "manager" asked if I could make it in that night, mind you it was 5 p.m. on a weekday, I live in Dallas and this dealership is in Hurst (almost an hour away with NO traffic). I told both of them several times I would not be able to come in and would need earlier notification in order to make arrangements to come in maybe later in the week ONLY if a deal (to my liking) was in place. He asked if I'd be willing to be picked up and after questioning the sudden urgency, I finally obliged. After another hour or so, I was called back and asked several more questions, many of which I'd already answered and finally told we would just wait until the next day to move forward since they didn't just want to have me "sitting around waiting." Later the next morning I was asked if I had a co-signer? Uhhh no, and that was never an option to begin with. I'm told it would be no problem, she was just instructed to ask. Shortly thereafter, I receive an alert that my credit has suffered THREE hard inquiries (all same bureau) and had potentially lowered my credit score. REALLY?? Immediately I try calling "Jenni" and no one seems to know who this employee is. I ask to speak to the GM and am transferred not only to SEVERAL different people but also LOCATIONS!! I call back and am transferred to a Mike Totaki [sp?] and this "gem" of a guy yells at me and then hangs up in my face. Awesome. Again, I call back and speak to the genius of a receptionist I've spoken with several times already, and after I'd already given my info to her to have the GM call me back, she ask for my info again. I reminded her that I'd JUST spoken with her and provided said info in which she informed me she must have "misplaced" it, which most likely means she never wrote it down. This is just the SHORT version of the mess of an experience I've had with these slobs but take my word for it, DO NOT GIVE THESE UNPRINCIPLED LOW-LIVES YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!
