Long-term care insurance department is set up to make it difficult to contact them, become eligible, or be paid a claim. They create hoop after hoop to jump through, they give incorrect information, lose documents, require multiple copies of documents and in every way possible make it difficult to be paid a legitimate claim. There is no number to call to speak to anyone besides the people answering the LTC phone number (who can't help with anything) and no number for issues or complaints. It's been 6 months and still no payment (after taking 4 months to establish eligibility that was CLEAR).
