When I called to find out the price of a puppy I had identified on their website, the response was "we only discuss prices in person". Rather outrageous marketing gimmick. You go, you play with the dog and when your children/ you fall for him/her, they rip you off. So don't shop at Petland until they learn ethics and come clean. You show the price upfront and you stand by it. Pets are not cars. Don't play with people (mainly children's) feelings.
