Update by user Oct 23, 2018 Never heard another word and it's been MONTHS. Didn't really expect to, at best a third rate company. They promised to "reach out to the customer" according to the BBB. They LIED! I ended up spending MORE $$ and replaced those God awful tops w/a better quality from a different company. The only real class act here was the installer who installed the new counters at no cost. That was the right thing to do and they did it. It's an outrage there is virtually no way to recoup loses from this shyster company. It's an outrage they offer a worthless warranty. It's an outrage that the customer over and over gets the short end of the stick. I suppose I could file in small claims court. However for anyone who has ever filed, you can receive a judgment in your favor, but collecting on it is a whole different matter. LG has no presence in my state, nothing to lose by thumbing their nose. Just stay away from them, there are FAR better choices. Original review posted by user Sep 23, 2018 Spent a ton of bucks on LG Viatera quartz countertops. Bought them mainly because it was "an American Company w/American values" (THEIR words) Ha! What a crock! Countertops have a strange haze over them that is especially obvious under artificial light. Like wax on a dark car that someone didn't wipe off. If no lights are on, looks pretty good, but I usually cook w/the lights ON! Took it up w/the fabricator, was advised by them there are "issues" w/Viatera dark colors. Swell, no one could tell me that? TRIED to take it up w/LGHausys, they blame the fabricator. THEIR paid "3rd party advisor" saw issues w/both the product and the fabrication, LG has seen fit to ignore that. They refuse to honor the warranty. I took the problem to the BBB, LG offered t replace the lab w/one JUST LIKE IT. Replace a lemon w/a lemon? Then they rescinded the offer, then offered it again. Must figure I'm stupid! WARNNG to all DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT, You'll regret it. Gave up w/them.
