Original review posted by user Oct 05, 2018 Call them up to report no 2nd to 1st gear shift over apox 30mph or 1500 rpms, they went into trouble shooting mode and had me take pictures and try different TV cable adjustments basically everything I had tried before calling them. Wasting hours of my time. Then they said it was not going to shift from 2nd to 1st gear at a speed of over 30 mph because they install a heavy duty governor on all there transmissions so I could install it in an F150 truck if I wanted to. They said if I wanted my AODE Stage 1 Performance Transmission to shift like a stock mustang I should take the governor off my stock transmission and install on my new "Custom Built in Our Facility best transmission package- all built to your vehicle specifications" transmission. Talk to transmission place that install and they said it might fix it, also consulted other tranny places they said something. Makes no sense to me why they would install heavy duty governor in a performance transmission. but I guess i'll be spending more time and money trying to figure out how to fix it. But beware of warranty if you have problems you pay to take trans out ($300) you pay to ship it back to there facility ($300) wait for them to get around to fixing it, you pay to ship it back to you ($300) and you pay to have it reinstalled ($300). They know your not going to do that.
