Update by user Jan 29, 2020 Two more replies were received from customer service. The latest reply took 9 days. It requested confirmation of my contact information. I still have no idea if I will receive a replacement unit. Update by user Jan 29, 2020 The only customer service received was from a reply from a computer that acknowledged my warranty request for a replacement unit. Original review posted by user Jan 24, 2020 I used the Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer once to seal less than 10 small bags. A year later I attempted to use it and it would not power up at all. It was stored in a plastic bag in the warm garage. After a month of returning the unit customer service fails to respond to my two written requests for an update on replacement of the unit under the 3 year warranty. I will wait another week for the replacement to arrive then purchase a competitor's product.
