Update by user Nov 18, 2019 yes. they have finally paid the claim after i made 3 car payments for a vehicle i didnt own Original review posted by user Nov 15, 2019 bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from SaffordJeep Fredericksburg Va. bought GAP insurance through dealership. GAP provided by WarrantechAutomotive, Inc. On Sept 3 2019 my Jeep was totaled by another driver. Husband spent 5 weeks in hospital. I dealt with GAP since Sept 6. I mailed all necessary paperwork. followed up with a phone call. they had not received it, even though usps receipt said they had. several days later, followed up with another phone call. still no paperwork in system. meanwhile still making car payments. i emailed ALL necessary documents. followed up with another phone call. still not uploaded in their system. after a lengthy discussion person on phone found the email with my paperwork and uploaded in the system . its October. she said she would expedite the process. As of Nov 4, GAP had not acted on my claim. Still making car payment on vehicle I no longer own.As of Nov 15, GAP did not act on the claim. called the loan organization, and they were sympathetic, as they deal with this all the time. loan compny will also follow up with Warrantech, Inc. My attorney has also stated he will follow up as well. Bottom Line> DONT EVER BUY GAP INSURANCE THROUGH ANY MOPAR DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!
